COME FLY WITH ME...

This little number is my recently completed layout of Illustrator renderings for Computer Imagery. We were to redesign an existing or create an entirely new airline company and create as realistic interpretations as possible using only Adobe Illustrator. My concept was to capture the sleek and innovative aesthetic of clothing and footwear company PUMA and recreate that original look and feel in a cutting edge airplane design. This just so happened to be my first project in Illustrator and I feel it turned out to be a very strong representation of my concept. I'd love some feedback too! Cheers

okay so I have not taken the CI class but i do know Illustrator is a tricky software to work with. So the only thing i can actually comment on are things that might not matter too much. My first comment is that I noticed you put the puma on the plane so that it would wrap halfway around it. I see part of it in the bottom view of the plane but it is missing on the top view of the plane. Also when I look at the large side scale image of the plane, the row of windows seems to make the plane look flat. The row of windows don't seem to curve to the nose of the plane and at the end as well. One last comment, i am not sure if i like the layout of the text boxes at the bottom. It might be the puma at the bottom right or the change in height of the boxes or that it might be too many different things to focus on at the bottom of the frame. Overall i think this is an amazing render for your first realistic illustrator design. I also enjoy how the word "sky" is kind of similar to the Sky vodka font. Both brands, puma and sky, are well known and look great! The design looks sleek and classy. Again i hope i didn't seem to critical, let me know what you think, or if any of those things mattered for your design.

i love the puma graphic on the plane--it lends itself well to the sleek, fast-moving idea of the plane.
